Last updated: 18 October 2026
Welcome to House of Youthful Skin.
These Terms of Service govern your use of the House of Youthful Skin website, online store and related services, including purchases made through our website.
Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that you have as a consumer.
1. About House of Youthful Skin
House of Youthful Skin operates an online skincare store and provides educational information relating to skincare, skin concerns and aesthetic treatments.
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
Our contact details are:

Where House of Youthful Skin is operated as a trading name of another legal person or company, that legal entity is the contracting party for purchases made through the website and should be identified in the relevant business information displayed on the website.
2. Using our website
You may use this website for lawful personal and commercial shopping purposes.
You must not use our website:
- for any unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purpose;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data;
- to introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful technology;
- to collect information about other users without appropriate permission;
- to impersonate another individual or organisation;
- to submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
- to misuse reviews, contact forms or other interactive features; or
- in any way that infringes the rights of House of Youthful Skin or another person.
We may restrict or suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect our customers, systems, business or legal rights.
3. Products
We sell professional skincare and related products through our online store, including products from brands such as SkinCeuticals where displayed as available for purchase.
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, images, ingredients, sizes and other product information are accurate.
However, packaging, formulations, product appearance and manufacturer information may occasionally change. Product imagery may therefore differ slightly from the product received.
Where there is a material change that affects the product ordered, we will take reasonable steps to inform you where appropriate.
Product availability is subject to stock.
4. Product suitability and skincare information
Information provided on House of Youthful Skin regarding skincare products, ingredients, skin concerns or routines is provided for general information and educational purposes.
Skincare suitability varies between individuals. A product that is suitable for one person may not be suitable for another.
You should review the product ingredients and manufacturer instructions before use, particularly if you:
- have known allergies or sensitivities;
- have an existing skin condition;
- are using prescription skincare or medication;
- are undergoing or recovering from a professional skin treatment;
- are pregnant or breastfeeding and have questions about ingredient suitability; or
- have previously experienced an adverse reaction to skincare products.
Where appropriate, seek advice from a suitably qualified healthcare or skincare professional.
Information published on this website is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition and does not replace individual medical advice.
5. Placing an order
By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products included in that order.
After an order is placed, you should receive an electronic acknowledgement or confirmation.
An order is not necessarily accepted merely because payment has been authorised or an automated acknowledgement has been sent.
We may decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- there is an obvious pricing or product-information error;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
- delivery cannot reasonably be made to the supplied address; or
- the order breaches an applicable legal or regulatory requirement.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the relevant amount using the original payment method, subject to any applicable legal requirements.
6. Prices
Prices displayed on the website are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise.
Where applicable, prices include VAT at the rate required by law.
Delivery charges and other applicable costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We may change prices from time to time. Changes will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before fulfilling an order, we may contact you and give you the opportunity to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the affected item.
7. Payment
Payment is processed through Shopify Payments and/or other payment providers made available at checkout.
Available payment methods may change from time to time.
By providing payment information, you confirm that you are authorised to use the relevant payment method.
Payment providers may carry out fraud prevention, authentication and security checks in accordance with their own terms and privacy notices.
8. Delivery
Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Any delivery date or timeframe provided is an estimate unless we expressly agree otherwise.
We will take reasonable steps to deliver products within the timeframe stated at checkout and within any timeframe required by applicable consumer law.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but where a material delay occurs we will deal with the matter in accordance with your applicable statutory rights.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address provided was materially incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery charges may apply where reasonable and lawful.
9. Ownership and risk
Responsibility for products passes to you in accordance with applicable consumer law, including when the products are delivered into your physical possession or to a person you have identified to receive them on your behalf.
Ownership of products passes to you once we have received payment in full and the relevant legal requirements for transfer have been satisfied.
10. Cancelling an online order
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel an online purchase without giving a reason.
For many goods purchased online, the cancellation period is normally 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.
If you exercise a valid cancellation right, you will normally then have a further period in which to return the goods in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Certain products may be excluded from the statutory cancellation right.
In particular, goods supplied in sealed packaging that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons may lose the cancellation right if they are unsealed after delivery, where the relevant legal conditions are satisfied.
This may apply to certain skincare, cosmetic or personal care products.
Please therefore do not open, unseal or use a product that you intend to return under a change-of-mind cancellation right.
Further information about returns, refund eligibility and the return process is set out in our Refund Policy.
11. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights relating to goods that are faulty, damaged, unsafe, not of satisfactory quality, not fit for an applicable purpose made known to us, or not as described.
If you believe that a product is faulty or that you have received the wrong product, contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please provide your order number and, where helpful, photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the matter and provide any remedy to which you are entitled under applicable law.
12. Refunds and returns
Returns and refunds are subject to our Refund Policy and your statutory consumer rights.
Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
Where there is any conflict between our voluntary return arrangements and your mandatory statutory rights, your statutory rights take priority.
13. Promotions and discount codes
From time to time, House of Youthful Skin may offer promotions, discount codes, gifts, bundles or other promotional offers.
Additional terms may apply to a particular promotion.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- only one code may be used per order where the checkout system imposes that restriction;
- offers are subject to availability;
- an offer may be limited to specified products or dates; and
- discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively to completed purchases.
Any promotional restrictions will be applied fairly and transparently.
14. Aesthetic treatments and professional services
House of Youthful Skin contains information about aesthetic and professional skincare treatments, including treatments associated with Prado Aesthetics and other treatment providers.
Treatment information on this website is provided for general educational and marketing purposes and does not establish that a particular treatment is suitable for you.
Treatment suitability must be assessed individually by an appropriately qualified practitioner.
Treatment information may discuss topics including:
- typical treatment purposes;
- possible benefits;
- potential side effects and recovery;
- published clinical evidence;
- possible treatment alternatives; and
- general aftercare considerations.
Individual results vary and no treatment outcome is guaranteed.
15. Treatment bookings
Treatment bookings may be completed through an external booking service, including booking services operated by Esteem Life Medical Group or another treatment provider.
Where you follow a link from House of Youthful Skin to an external booking platform, the treatment contract may be with the practitioner, clinic or organisation identified during that booking process rather than directly with House of Youthful Skin.
The provider's own:
- booking terms;
- cancellation policy;
- deposit requirements;
- clinical consent process;
- aftercare requirements; and
- privacy policy
may therefore apply.
You should review those terms before completing a treatment booking.
16. Treatment deposits, cancellation and appointments
Where a treatment provider requires a deposit or advance payment, the applicable amount, cancellation conditions and refund arrangements should be provided as part of the booking process.
House of Youthful Skin does not impose separate treatment cancellation or deposit terms on bookings made with an independent or separately identified clinic provider unless expressly stated.
Any treatment booking conditions must be interpreted subject to applicable consumer law and requirements relating to fair contractual terms.
17. No guarantee of treatment results
Aesthetic and skincare treatments involve individual biological responses.
Results may vary according to factors including:
- skin characteristics;
- medical history;
- the concern being treated;
- treatment technique;
- device or product used;
- aftercare;
- lifestyle factors; and
- individual healing response.
Examples, photographs, testimonials, studies or descriptions of outcomes must not be interpreted as a guarantee that another person will achieve the same result.
18. Skin Guide and educational content
Articles published in The Skin Guide and elsewhere on House of Youthful Skin are intended to provide general educational information.
We aim to make this content accurate and evidence informed, but skincare, medical evidence, products and treatment technologies can change over time.
Articles should not be relied upon as personalised medical advice, diagnosis or a substitute for an assessment by an appropriate professional.
Where articles reference published research, the research should be interpreted in its original context and may not relate to the exact product, device or protocol offered by a particular clinic.
19. Reviews
Customers may be able to submit reviews through House of Youthful Skin or a third party review provider.
Reviews should reflect the reviewer's genuine experience and must not contain:
- false or misleading claims;
- content submitted on behalf of another person without authority;
- unlawful, threatening, abusive or discriminatory content;
- confidential information belonging to another person;
- spam or unrelated promotional material; or
- content that infringes another person's rights.
We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary to comply with law, platform requirements or these Terms.
We will not remove or suppress a genuine negative review simply because it is unfavourable.
20. Customer accounts
Where customer accounts are available, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
We may suspend an account where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
21. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the House of Youthful Skin website, including text, branding, graphics, photography, artwork, page design, articles, educational materials and original visual content, is owned by or licensed to House of Youthful Skin.
Third party trademarks, product names, logos and images remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view and use the website for personal purposes.
You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, commercially exploit or substantially copy our original content without permission, except where permitted by law.
22. Third party intellectual property
Product names, logos and trademarks relating to SkinCeuticals and other manufacturers belong to their respective owners.
Reference to a third party brand does not transfer ownership of that intellectual property to House of Youthful Skin.
23. Third party services and links
Our website may contain links to third party websites and services, including payment providers, treatment booking platforms, review services, social networks and other external resources.
We are not responsible for the content, availability or terms of an independent third party service.
When you use an external service, you may also be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
24. Website availability
We aim to keep the House of Youthful Skin website available and functioning correctly.
We do not guarantee that the website will operate continuously without interruption or technical error.
We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
25. Errors and corrections
Despite reasonable care, the website may occasionally contain typographical, pricing, technical or other errors.
We may correct an obvious error when identified.
We will not use this provision to remove or reduce any statutory consumer right or avoid an obligation relating to an order that has already been lawfully concluded.
26. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot lawfully be excluded;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- faulty or misdescribed goods where consumer law provides a remedy;
- services that fail to meet mandatory statutory standards; or
- any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
We are not responsible for a loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was formed, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
We do not seek to exclude or reduce any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you.
27. Business use
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, products purchased through this website are supplied primarily for personal consumer use.
If you purchase products wholly or mainly for business, resale or professional purposes, different legal rights and obligations may apply.
Please contact us before placing substantial wholesale or resale orders unless a dedicated trade purchasing arrangement is available.
28. Events outside our reasonable control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure to perform an obligation where it is caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control, provided that we comply with any rights and remedies that applicable consumer law gives you.
Such circumstances may include major transport disruption, extreme weather, widespread technology outages, industrial action, government restrictions or disruption affecting suppliers or delivery networks.
29. Privacy and cookies
Our processing of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
We also use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with our privacy settings and cookie consent arrangements.
You can manage optional cookie categories using the Cookie Preferences controls available through our website.
30. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, website, suppliers, services or applicable law.
The version that applies to a particular purchase will generally be the version made available when you place the relevant order, together with any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
The latest version will be published on this website with an updated revision date.
31. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
32. No waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not necessarily mean that we have waived that right.
33. Governing law
These Terms and contracts made through House of Youthful Skin are governed by the laws of Scotland, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction, nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory legal protections or rights to bring proceedings in a court that applicable consumer law gives you.
34. Complaints
If you have a concern about an order, product or your experience with House of Youthful Skin, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter.
Email: houseofyouthfulskin@gmail.com
Please include your order number where your complaint relates to a purchase.
